The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series has reached its season finale at Phoenix Raceway after 35 races.
Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, and Christopher Bell will compete for the championship in Sunday’s Championship 4 after nine playoff races that have run over the past few months. At 3 p.m.PM Est, the race will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock, with the official coverage starting at 1:30 PM
Who has the best chance of winning the Bill France Cup? Let’s take a closer look at a few spots I’m on for Sunday.
NASCAR Phoenix Cup Series Championship
Race Winner: Joey Logano | +440 at DraftKings Sportsbook
In Phoenix history, Logano hasn’t always been one of the drivers to beat, but in his previous six outings, he’s had five Top-10 results, including a victory in the 2020 spring race and third in the playoff race that same year. In the 2021 spring race, where he also finished second, he led the most laps (143) and had plenty of chances to win that race.
Logano comes into this one at a discount, however, after having finished 17th and sixth at Richmond and 28th at Loudon this season, both of which are comparable tracks. The problem for his competitors is that by winning the Round of 8, he has had the most time to tune his car to its maximum potential for this one.
In doing so in 2018, he won the championship. I like for him to get there again this season by winning this one outright.
