The 2022 Winter Olympics are almost over seemingly just as they were getting started with the closing ceremonies just around the corner. Before then, however, Friday night marks the start of the mixed pair figure skating competition final, scheduled to go off at The Capital Indoor Stadium.
Let’s take a closer look at the field and see where the value remains.

Mishina/Galliamov [ROC]| +140 at DK Sportsbook
The odds on favorite for good reason, Russians Anastasia Mishina and Aleksandr Galliamov are a young but powerful duo who have become elite rather quickly. Winning the 2022 European Championship and 2021 World Championship, the pair already have one gold in these games in the team event.
The pair started their winning ways as juniors just 17 (Mishina) and 19 (Galliamov), winning bronze in the 2019-20 Grand Prix Final. Expect a strong performance from these two as allegations swirl around the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) at large, and these two continue to ignore them and perform on the biggest stage.
Sui Wenjing/Han Cong [CHN]| +175 at DK Sportsbook
Silver medalists in the 2018 Winter Olympics, Cong and Wenjing have more high-level experience than anyone near the top of the odds board. In fact, the only score that beat them in those 2018 games was a record-setting performance from two Germans in Aljona Savchenko and Bruno Massot who are now retired.
That silver medal was just another to add to the shelf for these two, who have World Championship golds in 2017 and 2019, in addition to Four Continent championships in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
As one of the most accomplished duos this sport has seen in recent decades, look for Wenjing and Cong to have something to say about who takes gold in these games.
