2023 Masters: Best Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions

Masters 2023: Jason Day Betting Preview, Picks & Predictions

It’s finally time for the year’s first Major. The top names in the sport will be in Augusta this week for the Masters of 2023, hoping to win the coveted Green Jacket on Sunday night. The first round at the always beautiful Augusta National marks the start of the fun for the 87th time on Thursday morning, as there’s no shortage of coverage and storylines to get enthralled in.

The defending champion Scottie Scheffler is one of the favorites, closely followed by Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy. Because this is a major, LIV Golf participants are allowed to compete, so Cam Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Phil Mickelson will also be present.

Let’s dive into my favorite prop bets of the week thus far.

Best 2023 Masters Prop Bets

Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook

Top Australian – Jason Day (+150)

For the time being, we’re allowed to overlook the last three Masters for the Aussie who has struggled with issues on and off the course.  He didn’t participate last year and didn’t make the cut in his prior two outings, accordingly.

It was not the Day we will be hearing about this week. He is playing a lot more like the golfer who recorded four top-10 finishes here from 2013 to 2019 and never had a worse finish than T-28.

Day is poised to go low once more in a Major, and he might accomplish it on a course he adores. With 11 top-25 finishes in 13 starts, including 6 top-10 finishes, he is now playing as well as anyone. He missed the cut twice this season, and he comes into this one looking like his old self.

While Cam Smith is the clear #2 option here, I think the added pressure of being the face of the Villains gets to him as he struggles throughout the weekend.

Top 20 – Corey Conners (+140)

Conners won the Valero Texas Open on Sunday and will want to build on it by making a solid showing at the Masters for the fourth consecutive year. Remarkably, he has three top-10 finshes in a row here in the past three years, placing sixth, eighth, and tenth.

Although rated 150th in SG: Putting, his victory on Sunday marked his seventh top-25 finish in 11 starts. Conners has steadily shown improvement since joining the Tour a few years ago, and his win at the Valero Texas Open might have just been the culmination of his entire game coming together.

Although the odds (+3800) don’t suggest he can compete, I like for him to go low here and find himself in the top 20 come Sunday.
