On Friday, Jonah Heim had a solid night, but the rest of our picks didn't go our way. Trevor Rogers had a phenomenal performance against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Steven Kwan could not get the hit we needed to put him over a fantasy score of 7.5. There are 13 games today, beginning with the Los Angeles Angels and Boston Red Sox, who play at 11:10 a.m. EST.
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for Monday, April 17th's MLB action.

Monday’s Best PrizePicks Player Predictions
This Season: 11-10
Luzardo has 20 strikeouts in three appearances this season. While that is a great cumulative number, he has actually only gone over 7.5 strikeouts once so far. However, his floor is five strikeouts, and he is about to go against the most strikeout-prone offense in baseball.

The San Francisco Giants have struck out 156 times in just 14 games. That's the most strikeouts in the MLB, no matter how many games a team has played, and the next 12 teams in the rankings have all played at least 16 games. The Giants have been horrible offensively, and Lazardo should be able to take advantage tonight.
Kyle Schwarber Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Schwarber is only batting .230 this season, but he does have four home runs and nine RBIs. Of his 14 hits, eight have been for extra bases, and last night against the Cincinnati Reds, he went 2-4 with a double and an RBI.
He is batting just .214 lifetime against Chicago White Sox starter Lance Lynn, but he does have two home runs against him. Against current White Sox pitchers, he has a total of five home runs and 8 RBIs.
Max Muncy is batting .208 this season, and he is 0-7 in his last two games. He has never faced David Peterson, but we like him to break out of his funk against the New York Mets starter because of how many hits Peterson allows.
Peterson has a WHIP of 1.84, and he has allowed 19 hits in just 14.2 innings. Though Muncy has struggled in his last two games, he recorded two hits in each of his prior two appearances. It's hard to trust a lifetime .230 hitter, but this is a good matchup for Muncy tonight.
