St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds
- Leg 1: JJ Wetherholt Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Leg 2: Alec Burleson Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)
- Leg 3: Bryan Torres Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
The Cincinnati Reds are expected to pitch Brady Singer today. He is a right-handed pitcher who has been terrible against lefties throughout the season and over the last 30 days.
In the last 30 days, Singer has given up a .462 ISO and a wOBA of .557 to his last 70 lefties. Those lefties struck out just 20% of the time and have hit almost 60% of hard contact with 36.5% of fly balls. That’s more fly balls than ground balls induced over the last month against lefties.
Ultimately, lefty JJ Wetherholt has hit a .268 ISO and a wOBA of .392 against righties over the last month. Alec Burleson is another lefty who has smoked a .228 ISO and a wOBA of .414 against righties in the last 30 days. Bryan Torres has posted a .429 ISO and a .562 wOBA since getting called up a couple of days ago.
Singer has been terrible against lefties. Let’s attack.

Athletics vs. San Diego Padres
- Leg 1: Miguel Andujar Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
- Leg 2: Manny Machado Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
- Leg 3: Nick Castellanos Over 1.5 Total Bases (+165)
The Athletics will start Luis Medina, but the bulk of today’s innings will belong to lefty Jacob Lopez, who has been awful against righties this season. Lopez has allowed a .355 ISO and a wOBA of .412 to his last 69 righties, while allowing 36.5% of fly balls and 28.8% of line drives. Righties have struck out less than 16% of the time against Lopez over the last month.
Meanwhile, Miguel Andujar has hit a .190 ISO with only 13.6% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month. Manny Machado has hit a .400 ISO and a wOBA of .482 against lefties during that same stretch. Nick Castellanos has hit a .200 ISO, while adding 61.5% of fly balls and a 15.4% barrel rate against lefties.
Stack Padres righties against Lopez and the Athletics.
