The MLB schedule was pretty light yesterday, with just a handful of games. But that is not the case today. We are back to business with a full schedule of games, and bettors will have plenty of options for creating MLB same game parlays (SGPs).
After a careful review of the games, the following are my best MLB SGPs for today.

Tuesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays & Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit Tigers
This pick is pretty much out of respect for the work Troy Melton has done since joining the rotation. He is 2-0 in three starts with a 1.74 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP. He has allowed two, one and one earned runs in his starts. He went eight innings in his last start, giving up just four hits and two earned runs.
A Minnesota lineup hitting .214 and averaging just three runs per game over the last week doesn't stand a chance.
Troy Melton Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-168)
Troy Melton has recorded nine strikeouts over his last three starts, with five coming in his last start (when he went eight innings). He wasn't a strikeout pitcher last season either, when he worked mostly in relief, pitching 45.2 innings and recording just 36 punchouts.
Against a Minnesota team that has struck out 36 times over the last week, I don't see this being a big strikeout game for him.
First Five Innings Under 4.5 Runs (-114)
I'm a little concerned about this one because Taj Bradley gave up four runs in fewer than five innings in his last two outings. I think Troy Melton could shut the Twins out through five to preserve the under, however.
Parlay Odds: +437 - A $100 wager will result in a $537 payday; your stake plus $437 in winnings.
Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels
First Five Innings Under 4.5 Runs (-108)
Houston's Kai-Wei Teng has a 2.57 ERA in nine road appearances (21 innings). Angels starter Walbert Urena has a 2.12 ERA at home in six starts. You can't trust the bullpens to close out the game, but both pitchers could certainly keep the score low through the first five innings.
Isaac Paredes 2+ Total Bases (+145)
Isaac Paredes has hit .318 over the last week with seven hits in 22 at-bats. Of those hits, five went for extra bases.
My love for the movie Encanto may be driving this selection a bit, but Nick Madrigal has hit safely in four of his last five starts, including last night's loss to Houston. He's hitting .346 since getting called up on May 29th.
Parlay Odds: +743 - A $100 wager will result in a $843 payday; your stake plus $743 in winnings.
