NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (11/27)

Bucks vs. Trail Blazers: NBA First Basket Scorer Player Prop Bets (Monday)

Let’s take a look at Sunday’s slate of NBA games to find some best bets. There are nine games scheduled this holiday weekend Sunday so let’s try to find some best bets.

DraftKings NBA Offer: Bet $5, Win $200

Cleveland Cavaliers at Detroit Pistons

Detroit is coming off of a long six-game west coast road trip. This is a tough spot for most teams, but particularly for a Piston team battling so many injuries. I’ll be focusing on an over total in this game.

Teams often tend to play to overs on their first game after returning from a long road trip. In this game, the matchups lend themselves to an over too. Cleveland’s front-line size should give the Pistons fits all day. In addition, the Pistons may be undermanned, with Isaiah Stewart nursing an injury and Marvin Bagley getting shaken up in the last game. It may be difficult for the Pistons to stop an offensive attack in Cleveland that ranks third in adjusted offensive rating.

Detroit has also been a lot better offensively since Alec Burks joined the lineup. He’s injected some shooting into this offense, and with improved play from Killian Hayes, they may be able to exploit an otherwise strong Cleveland defense.

Detroit played really well to end their trip, but the tired legs should come into play here. My best bet is the over on the game total.

Pick: Over 218.5 (-110

Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks

Luka Doncic and the Mavericks take on a Bucks team that has been hot out the gates on the NBA season. The Bucks have dominated on the defensive end, which has led to the first-ranked adjusted defensive rating.

One of the reasons Dallas has struggled to a 9-8 early record is their strength of schedule. They’ve played the toughest schedule based on defensive rating. They won’t get much of a reprieve in this matchup, which is why I like the Bucks on the spread.

The Bucks have the length to suffocate the Dallas offense, and with Jrue Holiday, they can help slow down Luka Doncic. Lineups are always subject to change, but so long as Giannis and Jrue are in the lineup, I like the Bucks at -5.5.

It should be a tough battle, but the Bucks should give the Mavericks similar problems as they’ve had all year against strong defensive teams.

Pick: Bucks -5.5 (-145)
