When the clock struck midnight and the calendar turned to Monday, April 4, sports betting officially went live in Ontario. More than a dozen sports betting operators have been granted iGaming licenses by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission in Ontario (AGCO), and they are all allowed to launch their respective sportsbooks on Monday as long as they also have an existing agreement with iGaming Ontario.
