Atlanta Dream at Dallas Wings
Angel Reese will face off against Alanna Smith for the opening tip. Reese won the tip last time out, while Smith did not. However, neither team scored the first basket in their respective games.
Despite Reese winning the opening tip, Atlanta turned the ball over on the opening possession and the still allowed the first basket to Nia Coffey. Reese scored first for Atlanta but it came nearly five minutes into the game. The Wings gave up a 20-foot jumper to Kelsey Mitchell on their first defensive possession but Paige Bueckers drained a 25-foot three-pointer to open the scoring for Dallas.

New York Liberty at Portland Fire
Jonquel Jones will face off against Luisa Geiselsoder for the opening tip. Geiselsoder lost her only tip opportunity the last time out, while Jones has lost both opening tips this season. However, while Portland has not scored a first basket this season, the Liberty have cashed once in two tries.
For Portland, Carla Leite knocked down a 3-footer for the Fire’s first points as an expansion team. She also took the first two shntsfor Portlands so let’s look to her for the value at +700. She should have the volume and opportunity with Jones likely losing the opening tip. Breanna Stewart has New York’s lone first basket this season, but Leite offers almost twice as much value.
