(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Atlanta Dream (-395) at Chicago Sky (+310) | O/U 165.5 (-105/-115)

The Dream (7-3) and Sky (4-7) meet at Wintrust Arena at 7:00 p.m. ET in the ESPN game, and all eyes will be on Angel Reese as she gets her first crack at her former team since an offseason trade.

Atlanta has won five in a row in this series since September 17th, 2024, covering four of those games. Atlanta has scored at least 86 points in each of those victories, and exactly 86 three times during that stretch. The Dream have won eight of the past 10 meetings outright and are 7-3 against the spread (ATS). The under is 3-1 in the past four meetings.

The Dream have won three of the past four games and are 3-1 ATS, while the over/under has alternated over the past six games.

Dream guard Allisha Gray leads the team in scoring with 19.7 points per game, while adding 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Reese is averaging 13.3 points while posting a team-best 11.7 rebounds per game. She is also averaging 3.1 assists, 1.3 steals and one block per game.

As far as injuries, Brionna Jones (knee) remains sidelined for Atlanta, while DiJonai Carrington (foot), Rickea Jackson (knee) and Courtney Vandersloot (knee) are also out.

Chicago is a mess right now, dropping six of the past seven games, while going 0-7 ATS during the skid. The over has a slight 4-3 edge in that seven-game span. Let’s back the Dream to get the job done on the road, and we’ll go under on the total, as Reese locks it down on defense against her former teammates.

Picks: Dream -8.5 (-118) & Under 165.5 Points (-115)

Phoenix Mercury (+280) at Golden State Valkyries (-355) | O/U 162.5 (-105/-115)

The Mercury (4-8) and Valkyries (6-5) battle at Chase Center in San Francisco at 10:00 p.m. ET. These teams have already met once this season in California, with the Valkyries posting a 95-79 win as 2.5-point favorites. while the over (159.5) cashed.

In that earlier meeting, both teams were similar in shooting - Golden State 49% (33-of-67); Phoenix 48% (26-of-54). The difference was turnovers. Golden State was +6 in turnover margin, with Phoenix conceding 24 points off those turnovers, while Golden State allowed just 11 points on its miscues. The Valkyries were +6 in rebounding and +8 on steals.

Both Kayla Thornton and Gabby Williams each had 19 points in the win over the Mercury, while Janelle Salaun came off the bench for 21 points, including four three-pointers.

Phoenix had four starters with 11+ points, with Alyssa Thomas going for 19 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds, just missing the triple-double in a losing effort. Jovana Nogic was an efficient 5-of-6 from the field, including 4-of-5 from distance, going for 16 points to keep the Mercury in it.

The Mercury have won two in a row, while the cover last time out in Portland as a 4.5-point underdog snapped a 0-4 ATS skid. The under is 5-1 in the past six games for Phoenix.

For the Valkyries, they’ve dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season, but they’re still 2-1 ATS in the past three games. The under cashed last time out at Las Vegas, and halted a six-game over streak.

We’re going to back the Mercury catching the points. And let’s go under on the total based on both teams’ trends, even though the over cashed in the first meeting back in May.

Picks: Mercury +7.5 (+102) & Under 162.5 Points (-115)
