Braves look for continued home dominance over the Astros
The Atlanta Braves have won their last seven games at Truist Park, and they look to make it eight straight in tonight's Game 3 against the Houston Astros.
Betting Impact:
The Braves are -115 moneyline home favorites, per BettingPros consensus odds. The first two games of the World Series have seen eight and nine runs scored, respectively, and the over/under is 1-1. So far, this has not been the explosive offensive series that many have predicted. Though Astros starter Luis Garcia is a rookie, he did not pitch much like one in his last outing. Garcia had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning of Game 6 of the ALCS against the Red Sox. He is opposed by Ian Anderson, who has pitched to a 2.25 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP so far this postseason. The under is 3-1-1 in Houston’s last five World Series road games and has cashed in six of Atlanta’s last seven games following a day off.
