The Atlanta Braves started as underdogs to win the World Series, but have now flipped to the favorites after winning Game 1 against the Houston Astros.

Betting Impact:

Per DraftKings, the Atlanta Braves have -155 moneyline odds to win the World Series, while Houston's odds are +135. Though Atlanta won Game 1, they suffered a huge loss as starting pitcher Charlie Morton was ruled out for the rest of the postseason after suffering a broken fibula. However, the Braves have still stolen homefield advantage with their Game 1 win, and are lined up with Max Fried and Ian Anderson for the next two games. If Atlanta also wins Game 2, they would be the 15th team in WS history to win the first two games on the road. 11 of the previous 14 to have done so have gone on to win the championship.
