The Los Angeles Dodgers are -157 moneyline favorites over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 of the World Series, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

The Dodgers coaching staff and front office caught a lot of flack for not letting tonight's starter Walker Buehler pitch on short rest in Game 2. There was a school of thought that the Dodgers should have taken control of the series and attempted to go up 2-0, but instead Blake Snell outpitched Tony Gonsolin in Game 2 and now the series is tied. 17 of the past 40 World Series have been tied 1-1. Of the past 16 times, the winner of Game 3 has won the World Series 12 times, so whoever wins tonight will have a big advantage for the rest of the series. Tampa Bay's Charlie Morton will oppose Buehler, and he has allowed just one earned run over 15.2 postseason innings thus far this year.
