Newly acquired pitcher David Price told the Los Angeles Dodgers that he will not pitch for them in 2020, citing health concerns and possible risks for his family according to ESPN. (ESPN)

Betting Impact:

The Dodgers would have had quite the top of the rotation this season with Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler and David Price. Even with the absence of Price this season, Caesars Sportsbook did not move the Dodgers odds of +350 to win the World Series. Oddsmakers must feel that the Dodgers have more than enough options between Ross Stripling, Julio Urias, Dustin May, Alex Wood and Jimmy Nelson to replace Price in the rotation. At +350, the Dodgers remain co-favorites with the New York Yankees to take home the title in 2020.
