With the World Series tied at two games apiece, perhaps bettors will find more value in the total tonight. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays have combined for four straight overs through the first four games of the series.

Betting Impact:

The over/under for tonight's matchup is eight runs, per BettingPros consensus odds. The pitching matchup is a rematch of Game 1 which features L.A's Clayton Kershaw vs. Tampa Bay's Tyler Glasnow. The Dodgers won Game 1 by a score of 8-3, after Kershaw allowed one run over six innings while recording eight strikeouts. Conversely, Glasnow was roughed up for six runs over 4.1 innings. Rays backers will be encouraged by an interesting career split regarding Kershaw. In the first game of a postseason series, he has a 3.15 ERA over 102.2 innings. However, in subsequent starts later in the series he has a career 5.44 ERA over 65.1 innings. Thus, there may be something to the fact that teams do well against him when seeing him the second and third times around.
