After beating the Tampa Bay Rays 8-3 in Game 1 of the World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers now have -455 odds to win the World Series at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Betting Impact:

The Rays odds are now +333. Before the series started, the Dodgers had -200 odds while Tampa Bay's odds were +160. Thus, one can see how much oddsmakers adjusted after L.A's convincing Game 2 win. The Dodgers are also favored to win Game 2 despite a pitching mismatch that features Tampa Bay's Blake Snell against Los Angeles's Tony Gonsolin. Rays backers may already have the feeling that tonight is a must-win game considering they will face the talented Walker Buehler in Game 3 and then have to face Clayton Kershaw at least one more time in the series. Bettors should be reminded that unlike the other playoff series, there is a built in off day after tonight's Game 2. Thus, that will likely affect how each team uses their bullpen.
