Despite losing last night's series opener to the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-5, the Cincinnati Reds are still 18-5 in their last 23 meetings.

Betting Impact:

The Reds are -141 moneyline favorites, per BettingPros consensus odds. Cincinnati has now lost three straight games, and find themselves a half-game back of the Cardinals for the N.L.'s second wild card. Tonight's pitching matchup is between Vladimir Gutierrez (9-6, 4.05) and Mitch Keller (4-11, 6.29). The over/under for this game is nine runs, which is not good news for the Pirates considering they are 0-5 in Keller's last five home starts with a total between 9.0-10.5. The over is 8-2 in the last ten meetings between these teams.
