Trend points to the Twins over the Indians

The Cleveland Indians are 0-7 in starting pitcher Cal Quantrill’s last seven starts as an underdog, and look to break that streak tonight against the Minnesota Twins.

Betting Impact:

Technically the Indians are not yet underdogs in this matchup, as both they and the Twins have -110 moneyline odds, per BettingPros consensus odds. However, the odds are worth monitoring given how long of a losing streak this is Quantrill (5-3, 3.04) on the mound. In addition to that trend, the under has cashed in each of Quantrill’s last four starts against teams with a losing record. He is opposed by Griffin Jax (3-3, 6.72), whose first Major League win came against Cleveland on June 25. The under is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these teams.
