The Miami Marlins and New York Mets will play one quick game on Monday afternoon to make up for the game they protested last week as part of the Black Lives Matter protest. The Mets are -250 moneyline favorites according to DraftKings Sportsbook. (DraftKings)

Betting Impact:

Monday's game will be a survival of the fittest as each team should be weary entering this game. The Marlins just finished a home series against the Rays and enter on a four-game losing streak. They are flying to New York for this one game before flying back home after the game to host the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Mets have played five games in their last three days as their weekend series against the New York Yankees included two doubleheaders. The Mets lost the last three games of the series, including yesterday's two games in crushing fashion. Good news for Mets backers is their ace Jacob deGrom is on the mound today, who is making his fourth straight start against the Marlins. New York won all three of those starts.
