The No. 6 seed BYU Cougars opened as 3.5 point favorites over the No. 11 seed UCLA Bruins in their Saturday first round matchup, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

UCLA overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to win an overtime thriller against Michigan State on Thursday night. However, the win may have been a costly one as leading scorer Johnny Juzang (14.5 PPG) went down with an ankle injury late in the overtime period. Bettors will want to monitor Juzang’s status as we get closer to tip-off. If he is ultimately ruled out, look for BYU to tip-off as even bigger favorites.
