After winning the opening First Four game, Texas Southern opened as a 26-point underdog against the Michigan Wolverines, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

Texas Southern erased a 10-point halftime deficit against Mount Saint Mary's, and outscored the Mountaineers 40-22 in the second half. The cover as 1.5-point underdogs was their fifth straight cover, and eighth in their last ten games. The Mountaineers are not the elite defensive team that Michigan is, but their tough man-to-man defense was nonetheless a decent simulation of what Texas Southern is in for when facing the Wolverines. After starting the season 12-3 ATS, Michigan ended the season 5-4 ATS.
