While the New York Giants must overcome the season-ending injury to star running back Saquon Barkley, the San Francisco 49ers are dealing with a number of injuries on both sides of the ball.

Betting Impact:

Despite the 49ers winning 31-13 over the Jets, last week's game was one the organization would like to forget. They lost defensive end Nick Bosa for the season with a torn ACL. They are still awaiting word on defensive lineman Solomon Thomas's knee injury, but they fear he also tore an ACL and will be out for the season. In addition, their offense will be missing key pieces this week as running back Tevin Coleman is expected to miss multiple weeks with a sprained knee while Raheem Mostert is likely to miss this week with a sprained MCL. However, the biggest injury news revolves around quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's high right ankle sprain. Head coach Kyle Shanahan declared him as day-to-day, but check back for updates later in the week as whatever news unfolds surrounding him will have a massive impact on the current 4.5 point spread.
