The San Francisco 49ers have placed running back Raheem Mostert (knee) on injured reserve, and have lost cornerback Jason Verrett to a torn ACL in advance of their Week 2 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. (Nick Wagoner)

Betting Impact:

Despite this injury news, the 49ers have held firm as -3.5 point road favorites, per BettingPros consensus odds. While Mostert is a big part of what San Francisco does on offense, they believe they will function just fine without him after the standout performance from Elijah Mitchell in Week 1. Mitchell ran for 104 yards on 19 carrries, which is a franchise record for a running back in his team debut. The injury to Verrett was felt most in the over/under, which ticked up from 49.5 to 50 int he last day.
