San Francisco currently sits at +450 to reach Super Bowl LV. They're followed by the Saints (+650), Eagles (+800), and Buccaneers (+800) in terms of likelihood to win the conference. (BettingPros Consensus Odds)

Betting Impact:

Since 1990, only two NFC teams have repeated as conference champs (the Cowboys in '92/'93 and Seahawks in '13/'14). Furthermore, 8 out of 17 Super Bowl losers have failed to even make the playoffs since 2002. While the 49ers have lost valuable pieces in DeForest Buckner and Emmanuel Sanders, the rest of the the core players are back. The 49ers also figure to be key players in the NFL Draft with the 13th overall pick. Their biggest challenge to achieving postseason success may be navigating an increasingly difficult NFC West division. With that said, San Francisco is as talented as any team in the NFC and are worthy favorites to repeat as conference champs.
