Per Adam Schefter on Twitter, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have activated defensive tackle Vita Vea off injured reserve. Vea has not played since hurting his ankle in the fifth game of the season against the Chicago Bears. (Adam Schefter)

Betting Impact:

Vea missed the first matchup against the Packers, but would be a significant addition to the Buccaneers defense if he looks healthy enough in practice to be cleared for Sunday. If Vea is active, he would be plugged in as an integral part of the middle of a run defense that will be tasked with slowing down Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. The Buccaneers are 3.5 point underdogs, but Vea's presence could bring down the total of 51 slightly if he is activated for Sunday.
