With just three days remaining before the official start of the NFL season, there has been some line movement in the opening game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys. The Bucs went from -7.5 point favorites to -8, while the over/under ticked up from 51.5 to 52, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

Certain roster news that surfaced in the last 48 hours is likely responsible for each line move. Four-time All-Pro Cowboys guard Zack Martin tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the game. His absence along with some other injury concerns on Dallas's offensive line likely has the majority of bettors backing the Buccaneers. In addition, over backers received the optimistic news that Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will be a "full go" and should not be limited by injury, per head coach Mike McCarthy.
