The Indianapolis Colts' spread for Week 8 against the Detroit Lions has moved from -2.5 to -3, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

The Colts are coming off their bye week for this matchup, so bettors are likely recognizing that advantage and wagering accordingly on the favorites. In addition, by all accounts the Lions should have lost to the Falcons last week if Todd Gurley does not have the mental lapse of falling into the endzone. Thus, bettors are likely viewing the Lions as a tad overrated entering the week. While the line has settled on the key number of three for now, it would take a significant trend of Colts money to continue to push the line past this number.
