Tampa Bay Buccaneers star left tackle Donovan Smith will be a game time decision for Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Betting Impact:

Smith was unable to practice all week due to the ankle injury, but the Buccaneers know they will need him active to give themselves a shot at defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. As such, a player who would likely have already been ruled out in normal circumstances is listed as questionable for Week 12. Smith was knocked from Week 11's contest with the injury, and his inability to at least log a limited session on Friday suggests that the injury is still bothering him. The last thing the Buccaneers need is to be down Smith when facing off against Chris Jones and Frank Clark, but that is the possibility they are facing. Smith being absent would noticeably reduce the Buccaneers probability to cover the spread due to his direct impact on both the running and passing games.
