Kansas City Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy may be a healthy scratch for Super Bowl LIV according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and the NFL Network. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Betting Impact:

McCoy was a healthy scratch twice this season, but at the time it was intimated by head coach Andy Reid that he was simply resting McCoy to keep him fresh for the playoff run. With Damien Williams playing well, Reid may actually sit McCoy for the big game. It would be a risky strategy, as a Williams injury would leave the Chiefs with just one healthy running back, a sixth round rookie. McCoy being inactive and the risk it represents would slightly lower the Chiefs probability to cover the spread.
