New York Jets starting running back Michael Carter Jr. has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Houston Texans.

Betting Impact:

Carter is dealing with an ankle injury and is currently considered week-to-week. Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman will be asked to play expanded roles with Carter sidelined. Carter's absence makes an already shaky backfield that much more of a liability. The Jets see their probability to cover reduced without Carter in the lineup.
