After opening at 53.5 points, the over/under for the Week 8 matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals has ticked down to 53, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

The most likely reason for early bettors weighing in on the under is the fact that this game is being played on Thursday night, and each team has less time to prepare. However, one would not expect this number to keep plummeting given how well the quarterbacks in this game are playing. Kyler Murray's 17 touchdown passes through the first seven games are the most in franchise history. In addition, Aaron Rodgers has 17 total touchdowns to just one interception during the team's current six-game winning streak.
