Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (toe/ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, and is questionable for Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. (Vic Tafur- The Athletic)
Despite drawing the questionable tag, it does not appear as if Jacobs is in any real jeopardy to miss this week's game. It could be more of a maintenance issue, and the team was clearly cautious with him in the opener as they gave him just ten carries and attempted 56 passes with Derek Carr. Clearly the team would like to be more balanced this week, but even if Jacobs is active, bettors will want to monitor what they are hearing from post-practice press conferences about how the team will utilize Jacobs this week. The Raiders opened as +6.5 point underdogs before their Monday night win, but were quickly bet down to +5.5 after their upset of the Ravens.
