Rodgers now with second-best odds to win Most Valuable Player

Don't bet against Aaron! Rodgers was once a +3000 longshot to win the award back in August, but his strong play despite a weak supporting cast has vaulted him back into the running. At +550 to win, he now out-ranks Russell Wilson (+650), who looked like the frontrunner just a few weeks ago. (BettingPros)

Betting Impact:

While Patrick Mahomes is the clear favorite for the award, Rodgers offers some interesting value in second place. I doubt that the Chiefs will suffer a late-season collapse, but an injury to Mahomes and some late-season heroics from Rodgers could reshape this race. While that scenario is certainly somewhat unlikely, +550 is a high-value line, and it could be worth half a unit if you don't believe Kansas City will finish the season strong.
