The Pittsburgh Steelers opened as four-point home favorites for their Wild Card round game with the Cleveland Browns, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

The Steelers-Browns matchup is the second game of the Wild Card round that is a meeting between divisional opponents, as the Rams-Seahawks also meet in a battle of NFC West teams on the other side of the bracket. Pittsburgh dominated Cleveland in the first meeting in Week 6 by a score of 38-7, while Cleveland won the rematch in Week 17 by a score of 24-22. The Week 17 win allowed the Browns to secure a playoff berth, but was somewhat muted by the fact that Pittsburgh rested many key starters. The Steelers' valiant effort and near upset last week with Mason Rudolph under center likely earned a lot of bettors' respect in that they should be able to take care of business with Ben Roethlisberger back under center this week. It will be interesting to see what side sharps land on this week, as they typically like playing underdogs in division rivalries.
