The Tennessee Titans shocked the world on Saturday night by defeating the team with the best record in the NFL by a score of 28-12. The Titans were the underdogs and thus easily covered their +9.5 consensus point spread. The under was hit for every number it appeared at in our consensus over/under from its open of 48 points, to its low watermark of 46.5.

Betting Impact:

The Titans continued their strong play with a stunning upset victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans defense stood up throughout the game, forcing multiple turnovers, and scoring off four of them. War horse Derrick Henry rumbled for a Titans postseason high 195 rushing yards, and became the first back ever to rush for 180 yards in three consecutive contests. He also set the new record for rushing yards in a players first four playoff games. Henry also threw a touchdown pass at the goal line, becoming the first running back since 1999 to pass for a touchdown. The Titans were given just an 18 percent chance to win this contest straight up by ESPN's Power Index, but managed to defy the odds in convincing fashion. The Titans will visit the winner of the Chiefs-Texans contest in the AFC Championship game.
