After opening as four-point home favorites, the Washington Football Team's Week 2 spread against the New York Giants ticked down a half point to -3.5, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

Both the Giants and Washington are coming off Week 1 losses, though Washington's loss to the Chargers was a lot more respectable than New York's no-show at home against Denver. Washington will start Taylor Heinicke at quarterback in replace of the injured Ryan Fitzpatrick. However, this line movement is likely more a reaction to bets on the underdog than it has to do with the injury, as it was known Washington would be without Fitzpatrick after leaving last week's game with the injury.
