The last time we saw Creative Minister, he finished third behind two impressive horses at the 2022 Preakness Stakes. Now entering the 2022 Belmont Stakes, Creative Minister could factor into the decision yet again.

Creative Minister ran a really solid race at the Preakness. He kept up with the pace essentially the whole way, sitting in the middle of the pack before bursting at the end. The only problem was Creative Minister wasn’t quite as fast as Early Voting, who he finished 3.5 lengths behind.
Regardless, the Minister registered a career-high 100 Beyer Speed Figure in what was an impressive performance. And there’s even better news, neither Early Voting nor Epicenter (who finished 2nd) will be going against him in the Belmont.
Betting Preview and Prediction
Creative Minister should once again be in the mix in the Belmont Stakes. And his career-best speed figure at the Preakness suggests this horse is only getting better entering the final leg of the Triple Crown.
With the veteran jockey Hernandez riding aboard, Creative Minister is someone I’ll consider in all my exotic bets, and he’ll be one of my choices at solid odds to take home the Belmont Stakes.
