2022 RBC Heritage: Betting Guide, Odds, & Predictions (PGA)

We are just a few days removed from a tremendous Masters week, as Scottie Sheffler continued his historic rise to pick up his first major in runaway fashion. Now, however, just five events remain between now and the next major, the PGA Championship in late May.

Let’s take a closer look at this week’s event, the RBC Heritage, breaking down the course and field at large.

Course Preview: Harbour Town Golf Links

Located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Harbour Town is a Par 71 coming in at 7,099 yards. Open to the public all year round, the course was designed in 1967 by famous course designer Pete Dye with the help of Jack Nicklaus.

With fairways and rough consisting of Bermuda grass, the greens are made up of TifEagle Bermuda, which is overseeded with Poa Trivalis. While driving distance is largely taken out of play, Harbour Town does have the 2nd smallest greens on Tour, making approach shots critical.

Corey Conners (+2500 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
I was on Conners to finish top 20 last week at the Masters, as he cashed with ease finishing T6 when it was all said in done with a -3. That was just two weeks removed from finishing T3 in one of the more stacked events of the year, the WGC-Dell Match Play event.

Coming into this week, Conners ranks #1 on Tour in Greens in Regulation. He also ranks #7 (.704) in SG: Off-the-Tee and #24 in SG: Total (1.133), as he continues to improve seemingly every week.

In his past two starts here at Harbor Town, Conners has finishes of T4 (2021) and T21 (2020), as he consistently takes advantage of his short-range game here in South Carolina. Over his last five events entered this year, Conners has finished T35 or better in all five.

Slowly turning into one of the best ball strikers on Tour, I like for the Canadian to continue his success here at Harbour Town, and find himself in contention come Sunday.
