2022 Travelers Championship: Previous Winners, Betting Stats & Course Preview

Following an incredible week of golf at The Country Club just up the road in Brookline, the Tour stays in New England this week for their usual stop at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn. With five of the past 11 stops here going to a playoff, the Travelers has offered some of the best finishes over the past decade and this year should be no different.

Previous Winners of the Travelers Championship

  • 2021: Harris English
  • 2020: Dustin Johnson
  • 2019: Chez Reavie

Course Preview: TPC River Highlands

Unlike the past couple of weeks where we saw new courses, TPC River Highlands will be quite familiar to players this week with the event held here every year since 1984. Because of its consistency, the event draws some of the biggest crowds in golf, and with them, the Tour’s best players.

Coming in at 6,841 yards, Highlands is well below the average length and comes in as the second-shortest course on Tour. With that, mid-iron game is critical here, especially in the 125-175 yard range. The short course also leaves plenty of birdie opportunities, with some of the easiest scoring par 5s on Tour and driveable par 4s.
