2022 World Cup Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (12/6)
Only four teams remain in the Round of 16, as Monday produced two widely different results with Croatia winning a tightly contested game vs. Japan, and Brazil blowing out South Korea. What will Tuesday produce as two more teams punched their tickets to the quarterfinals?
Let’s take a closer look.

Morocco vs. Spain (Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan; 10 a.m.)
- Leg 1: Morocco (+600)
- Leg 2: Anytime Goalscorer - Romain Saiss (+2800)
- Leg 3: Over 1.5 Goals (-280)
It would be unwise to ignore the Moroccans despite the fact that Spain is a huge favorite over the Atlas Lions, according to the oddsmakers. In Group F, Morrocco outperformed Croatia, Belgium and Canada, finishing first to defy the odds and advance to the knockout rounds in one of the biggest upsets of the group stage.
On paper, Morocco’s performances might not seem all that great, but a lot of that can be attributed to how their group was arranged. Despite having seven points and a +3 goal differential (4 GF, 1 GA) at the end of group play, the Atlas Lions’ underlying analytics suggested that they were fortunate. Just 2.4 expected goals for and 2.8 expected goals against were produced by Morocco.
However, those figures require additional context. Morocco had a great game against Croatia, limiting them to just 0.5 xG. The Atlas Lions followed up their performance with a 2-0 victory over Belgium, with the North Africans coming out on top by 1.5xg goals to 1.0. As a result, the Atlas Lions scored 1.9 predicted goals and gave up 1.5 in their two games in the role of underdog.
Led by captain Romain Saas, I think we see them shock the world in this one.

Portugal vs. Switzerland (Lusail Stadium, Lusail; 2 p.m.)
- Leg 1: Switzerland (+340)
- Leg 2: Anytime Goalscorer - Breel-Donald Embolo (+400)
- Leg 3: Over 1.5 Goals (-280)
Switzerland is aware that they are not the favorites to beat Portugal in the round of 16, but they also understand that this World Cup has not particularly cared about the roles of underdogs and favorites. There have been many surprises in Qatar 2022, like Portugal losing their most recent encounter to South Korea 2-1.
It doesn’t take a long memory for Switzerland to remember their own victory over Portugal either. This is the third meeting between the teams in 2022; in their last matchup in the Nations League, Haris Seferovic scored the sole goal in a 1-0 victory. Indeed, in their lone prior meeting in a major competition, the Euro 2008, Switzerland also defeated Portugal 2-0.
With Cristiano Ronaldo taking the team’s attention away from the pitch, I like for Switzerland behind Breel-Donald Embolo’s foot to sneak past the Portuguese in this one.
