2023 College Football Playoff National Championship Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions

It all comes down to this.

Following one of the more memorable college football seasons in recent times, the 2023 CFP National Championship is finally upon us. While I see the spread as about right, currently sitting at Georgia -12.5, I do think there are some player props that currently have soft numbers posted.

Let’s take a closer look at a few I’m dialed in on.

2023 College Football Playoff National Championship Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions

(#3) TCU Horned Frogs vs. (#2) Georgia Bulldogs

Bet No. 1: Stetson Bennett Passing Yards – Over 279.5 (-115)

Since A.J. McCarron (Alabama) led his team to back-to-back titles in 2011–12, Georgia QB Stetson Bennett is the first quarterback to do so. The 25-year-old needs 177 passing yards to become the first 4,000-yard passer in program history and 71 passing yards to break the school’s single-season record, both of which he should grab with ease. The offensive MVP of the 2022 Peach Bowl was built for the big stage, and I expect another stellar performance to etch his name even deeper into the record books.

Bet No. 2: Anytime Scorer – Georgia Defense/Special Teams (+200)

This Georgia defense is truly a spectacle to behold

Let’s start with DT Jalen Carter, the 300-pound, 6’3″ lineman that commands attention when defending the Dawgs’ front seven.  Carter has been a force to be reckoned with since returning from injury on October 29th and he will put a lot of pressure on the TCU passing attack. On the back end, CB Kelee Ringo leads the way, as the 6′ 2″, 210-pound corner helped the Bulldogs win their first championship since 1980 with a crucial pick-six in the 2022 CFP Championship. As he attempts to disrupt TCU’s offense, all eyes will be on the powerful and quick sophomore.

Whether it’s one of these two or another one of the NFL prospects playing defense for the Dawgs, someone finds pay dirt.

Bet No. 3: Anytime Scorer – Brock Bowers (-160)

With his exceptional hands and movement, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers emerged as one of the top offensive choices for Bennett down the stretch this season. The Bulldogs will target Bowers early on because he has at least four receptions in each of his previous three CFP games.

Bet No. 4: Anytime Scorer – Quentin Johnston (+100)

The 6′ 4″, 215-pound receiver is one of the top wide receivers in the 2023 NFL Draft class. He will bring his strength and speed into the National Championship after a season where he racked up 1,088 yards and six receiving scores on 59 receptions.

At even money, I love this price on Johnston to find the end zone.
