2023 NFL Divisional Round Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks (Sunday)

The Divisional Round of the playoffs wraps up on Sunday with two outstanding matchups. The first contest is between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills. Both teams only played 16 games during the regular season. Their Week 17 matchup got canceled after Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field in the first quarter. That game was supposed to be one of the most exciting matchups of the year. Hopefully, we get a shootout on Sunday.

In the second game on Sunday, we get a matchup between historic NFC teams as the Dallas Cowboys take on the San Francisco 49ers. These two teams didn’t face off during the regular season. The last time they faced off was in the Wild Card round of the playoffs last year. The game famously ended after Dak Prescott’s 17-yard run resulted in the clock running out before the Cowboys could spike the ball for one final attempt into the end zone.

Millions of dollars will get bet on these games. However, which touchdown prop bets should you bet? Let’s take a look.

Best NFL Divisional Round Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bets

Let’s look at the best touchdown scorer player props for the Sunday Divisional Round games.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Buffalo Bills

Bengals First TD Scorer: Tyler Boyd (WR – CIN) (+800)

Cincinnati has three talented wide receivers. However, Boyd always seems to get forgotten by the fans and media. Yet, the veteran wide receiver had five receiving touchdowns this season, the fourth time over the past five years he’s reached that total. More importantly, he scored the first Bengals touchdown in 18.8% of the games this season. Furthermore, Boyd had the opening touchdown in the Week 17 matchup before the game got suspended and ultimately canceled. Meanwhile, the Bills surrendered 18 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the fourth-most in the league, including seven as the first touchdown of the game for their opponents.

Bills First TD Scorer: Dawson Knox (TE – BUF) (+650)

Knox has been on fire lately. The veteran tight end had six receiving touchdowns during the regular season, the third-most on the team. More importantly, he scored the first Buffalo offensive touchdown in 18.8% of the games during the regular season. Furthermore, Knox had the first Bills touchdown last week against the Miami Dolphins. Meanwhile, the Bengals held tight ends to only three receiving touchdowns during the regular season, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. However, all three came as the first score of the game for their opponent. Over the past five games, a tight end has scored the first offensive touchdown for the Bills four times. Expect Knox to make it three in a row on Sunday.

Anytime TD Scorer: Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN) (+125)

The former LSU star had a massive rookie season, totaling 13 receiving touchdowns in 17 games. This year Chase had nine touchdowns in 12 games. However, he has been unstoppable since returning from a hip injury. Over the final five games of the regular season, Chase had three receiving touchdowns. Furthermore, he had the first Cincinnati touchdown last week against the Baltimore Ravens, making it two weeks in a row that the superstar receiver found the end zone. Meanwhile, the Bills surrendered 18 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the fourth-most in the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers

Cowboys First TD Scorer: Ezekiel Elliott (RB – DAL) (+475)

While Elliott isn’t the superstar running back he was a few years ago, the veteran running back remains one of the best around the goal line. The former first-round pick led the team with 12 rushing touchdowns during the regular season, scoring in 66.7% of the games. More importantly, Elliott scored the first Dallas touchdown in nearly half of the games he played during the regular season, including five of the final eight contests. Meanwhile, the 49ers gave up a rushing touchdown as their opponent’s first touchdown in 23.5% of the contests during the regular season. Furthermore, Kenneth Walker III scored the first Seattle Seahawks touchdown last week against the 49ers.

49ers First TD Scorer: Brandon Aiyuk (WR) (+700)

Christian McCaffrey has scored the first San Francisco touchdown in two straight games. However, he did that against two weaker run defenses. This week the superstar faces an elite Dallas run defense that held running backs to only six touchdowns during the regular season, the second-fewest in the NFL. While they have an elite run defense, the Cowboys gave up 22 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the most in the league. More importantly, nine of them were the first score of the game for their opponents. Furthermore, Julio Jones scored the first Tampa Bay Buccaneers touchdown last week against Dallas. Meanwhile, Aiyuk scored the first 49ers’ touchdown in 29.4% of the games during the regular season.

Anytime TD Scorer: CeeDee Lamb (WR – DAL) (+160)

The third-year receiver had a career year with nine receiving touchdowns this season, the most on the team and more than twice as many as any other wide receiver on the roster. More importantly, Lamb has been on fire lately finding the end zone. The star receiver has scored eight receiving touchdowns over the past 11 games, including four over the past four contests. Lamb also found the end zone last week against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, the 49ers gave up 16 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the seventh-most in the NFL. Furthermore, San Francisco surrendered a pair of touchdowns to DK Metcalf last week.
