Australia vs. United States
- Leg 1: Sophia Smith Anytime Goal (+125)
- Leg 2: Mallory Swanson Anytime Goal (+125)
- Leg 3: Over 2.5 Total Goals (-190)
- Leg 4: United States Moneyline (-190)
Sophia Smith has scored 22 goals in 52 games with USWNT since making her debut in 2020. She has two goals in two games this Olympics with both scores coming last game against Germany.
Mallory Swanson is a goal machine with a nose for the net. She has three goals in two Olympic Games including the go-ahead score to give Team USA a 2-1 lead over Germany last time out before they never looked back in a 4-1 victory. Before that, she scored twice against Zambia.
Team USA has scored seven goals in two games with Swanson (3) and Smith (2) accounting for five of them. Because of this, the two of them are offering the lowest returns on the ATG prop. However, despite this, they are still both offering better than even money. The fact you can get that kind of value on either of the players who have accounted for over 71% of Team USA's offense this Olympics is incredible.
Team USA has outscored their first two opponents by scores of 3-0 and 4-1 to carry a goal differential of +6. Looking for them to score three more, especially when we have our two ATG legs accounting for two goals already seems safe and reasonable. This is the low-side alternate line, returning -190 but also taking into account the safety of the US having scored at least three goals by themselves in both of their previous games.
Team USA has already clinched a spot in the knockout round but they can clinch Group B with a win or draw today. They have some motivation to win today as they have only earned three victories in group play twice in Olympic play and this would be their first time since 2012 when they took home gold. On the other side of the pitch, Australia is 1-0-1 and needs to score as their goal differential (6:8, -2) has them currently behind Germany (4:4, 0). The top two best third-place finishers also advance so Australia has many avenues to make the knockout round but only with a lot of offense and/or an outright victory so they will be aggressive in this one. This should all positively correlate with the four legs of our parlay, as they will try for a shootout as well as leave themselves vulnerable on the defensive end as well.
The United States is 3-2-0 in their last five matches against Australia. Three of those five were International Friendlies and Team USA holds the 2-1-0 advantage. The other two were in the last Olympic Games in 2021. The two teams played to a scoreless draw in their pool play before the US was victorious 4-3 in their rematch in the Bronze Medal game.
This parlay hit against Germany and hit three of four legs against Zambia.
