2025 3M Open Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets
A full field of 156 golfers will tee it up during the 2025 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities. It’s the second-to-last PGA Tour event before the FedExCup playoffs get underway in August, so there’s a lot of urgency for any golfer below or hovering near 70th in the FedExCup standings.
TPC Twin Cities plays as a par-71 course that measures 7,431 yards. It features water hazards on nearly every hole, with greens that are bigger than average and run 13 feet via Stimpmeter. Four-inch bluegrass rough is the other primary hazard to avoid. This is one of the most scorer-friendly courses on the PGA Tour circuit, with the winning score ranging between 15-under-par and 24-under-par in each of the last four years.
Last week’s 2025 Open Championship Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets settled a disappointing 0-3. Now that we’re back stateside in an event that will inevitably yield dozens of birdies, we’ve got a good opportunity to turn profit in a bounce-back spot.
Here are three best bets to place ahead of Thursday’s first round at the 3M Open. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and PGA Tour analysis.

Top 20 Finish
Wyndham Clark has put himself into position to qualify for the FedExCup playoffs at 51st heading into Round 1 at the 3M Open. Following his viral outburst in the locker room at Oakmont due to a missed cut at the U.S. Open, Clark’s been on a tear.
In three of his last four events played, Clark has recorded a top 20 finish, including a T4 at Royal Portrush during the Open Championship on Sunday. He’ll now return to TPC Twin Cities for the first time in several years.
Clark ranks 21st driving distance, 13th putting average and ninth in birdie average. This is a great recipe for a Top 20 finish prop at the 3M Open, so let’s bet on Clark to post a third consecutive top 20 finish at plus odds.
Pick: Wyndham Clark (+150)
Top 30 Finish
We’re going to dive into the Top 30 Finish market and continue to bet good golfers at plus odds. Jake Knapp is a power hitter who is also talented with his irons and putter.
Knapp is currently +115 to post a top 30 finish at TPC Twin Cities this week. He’s 55th in the FedExCup standings, so another top 30 would go a long way to keep him in playoff contention.
Ranks 27th driving distance, 12th SG: Putting, and top 30 for scrambling and approach shots from 200+ yards. This has led to Knapp’s 14th-ranked scoring average, 10th on par 4s and third on the PGA Tour in birdies per round.
Let’s bet on Knapp to record a fifth straight top 30 finish at +115 odds.
Pick: Jake Knapp (+115)
Top 30 Finish
Emiliano Grillo is another golfer trending upward who has good course history at the 3M Open. The Argentinian only has one top 10 finish in 2025, losing to Brian Campbell in a playoff at the John Deere Classic in early July.
Grillo has a T10 and T24 in his last two outings at TPC Twin Cities. In 2025, he’s ranked 16th total driving, including 17th driving accuracy and 34th proximity. Also sits 34th on par 4s.
After the playoff loss, Grillo has regressed, with a T40 and missed cut at the ISCO Championship and Barracuda Championship. I expect a stronger effort at TPC Twin Cities this week, especially with Grillo sitting 71st in the FedExCup standings.
Bet one more unit on Grillo to record a third straight top 30 finish at the 3M Open.
Pick: Emiliano Grillo (+130)
