2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Odds & Picks: Head-to-Head Matchups

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is the second Signature Event of the 2025 PGA Tour season, teeing off along the iconic coastlines of Pebble Beach in northern California. Last year’s event was cut down to 54 holes due to in-climate weather but the forecast calls for much better conditions this weekend. Wyndham Clark returns as the defending champion, while other recent winners at Pebble Beach include Justin Rose, Tom Hoge, and Daniel Berger.

Last week, my PGA head-to-head matchups at the Farmers Insurance Open went 1-1. The loser came in Round 1 when I bet on Maverick McNealy to beat Keegan Bradley at even odds. McNealy started the first round better than Bradley but went flat on the back-nine at Torrey Pines’ North Course. Bradley finished with a 69 compared to McNealy’s 70, converting five birdies compared to McNealy’s four. The winner came on a 72-hole matchbet between two PGA Tour. veterans, Jason Day and Tony Finau. I bet a unit on Day to finish with a lower score than Finau at the end of the tournament, and he did, recording a T32 finish, while Finau missed the cut.

Let’s aim for a 2-0 sweep in the tournament 3-balls tournament trio betting market on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of Round 1 teeing off on Thursday morning from Pebble Beach. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly analysis.

Tournament 3-Balls Tournament Trio – Burns, Day, Bradley

I’ve already bet on Jason Day to win the tournament outright in my PGA best bets article, so naturally, I’m siding with the Aussie to beat Sam Burns and Keegan Bradley in his 3-ball matchup. Day has been a phenomenal golfer at Pebble Beach throughout his decorated career and he’s equipped with accurate ironplay, which will help him climb the leaderboard early on Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill.

Last year, Day recorded a T6 finish at -13-under-par through three rounds, including a scorching hot 9-under-par outing in the third and final round. One more round could’ve seen Day climb into contention with Clark and he’s recently coming off of a T3 at the American Express. Yes, Burns and Bradley are both very talented golfers in their own right, who finished at 12-under-par and 11-under-par at Pebble Beach a year ago. Yet I think Day’s primed to go on a run based on his longstanding success and elite ball-striking ability.

Let’s bet a unit on Day as the second favorite behind Burns (+150) to finish with a lower score than Burns and Bradley (+210) at a quality price of +160 odds ahead of Round 1 teeing off at Pebble Beach.

Pick: Jason Day (+160)

Tournament 3-Balls Tournament Trio – Fleetwood, Im, Matsuyama

This next trio is another star-studded group that will have plenty of production throughout the weekend at Pebble Beach. Tommy Fleetwood, Sungjae Im, and Hideki Matsuyama are all phenomenal ball-strikers but I give the edge to Matsuyama in this trio.

Matsuyama dominated at The Sentry, setting a course record, and he’s likely eager to avenge a disappointing T71 at the 2024 Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Matsuyama has gone 1st, T16, and T32 in all three events played in 2025, ranking third in total strokes gained, including second SG: Approach and 28th SG: Putting. He’s 28th in hole proximity and 23rd scrambling, with the only weak club in his bag currently being the driver.

Pebble Beach isn’t a course that demands driver accuracy and distance since both courses are short, however, iron accuracy and the ability to avoid 2 and 3-putts is where Matsuyama takes precedent over Im and Fleetwood. Im has had a strong start to his 2025 campaign as well but his volatility scares me. Fleetwood is making his PGA Tour debut this season and may have some rust, plus, he’s a bit streaky in his own right.

Let’s bet one more unit on Matsuyama to beat Fleetwood and Im in this tournament 3-ball trio as a slight betting favorite +170 odds, compared to +175 odds for the other two.

Pick: Hideki Matsuyama (+170)
