2025 Charles Schwab Challenge Odds, Picks & Predictions: Best Head-to-Head Bets

Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth are two Dallas natives who headline the outright winner betting favorites at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge. There’s a huge gap between Scheffler and Spieth, as the World No. 1 golfer is coming off of his first PGA Championship victory at Quail Hollow Club on Sunday.

Scheffler is as short as +250 odds to win at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas this week. Spieth, alongside Daniel Berger, is much longer at +2200 odds. That’s how much respect oddsmakers are giving Scheffler, who was a betting favorite at every PGA Tour event before claiming consecutive wins at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson and PGA Championship.

I’ve got a couple of head-to-head bets to tail before Round 1 tees off at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly PGA Tour analysis.

Tournament Groups – Group A Winner

There aren’t enough accolades to give Scottie Scheffler’s golf game right now. He’s rounded into peak form and collected consecutive wins at nearby TPC Craig Ranch and Quail Hollow Club.

Scheffler ranks first on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained. He’s also managed a top 3 finish at Colonial Country Club in three straight appearances, including a playoff loss. Now, he’ll have an opportunity to win three straight PGA Tour events for the first time in his career.

We’re laying some big juice on Scheffler to Win Group A and beat four other golfers at Colonial this week. However, I’m confident that his ball-striking is untouchable by Jordan Spieth, Daniel Berger, Tommy Fleetwood or Hideki Matsuyama.

Let’s bet up a unit, up to two units maximum, on Scheffler as the Group A Winner at -165 odds.

Pick: Scottie Scheffler (-165)

Tournament Groups – Group B Winner

Now, we’ve got a nice +280 head-to-head bet to place on Maverick McNealy as the winner of Group B. McNealy has elevated his game in 2025, logging fivr top 10 finishes and a runner-up at the Genesis Invitational.

McNealy recorded a T17 finish at Colonial in 2024. He’s ranked 29th total strokes gained, including 34th SG: Approach, 41st SG: Putting and 29th for hitting greens in regulation at over 69 percent.

35th on par 4s will bode well for McNealy at this condensed par 70 course. Let’s bet one unit on McNealy as the favorite to win Group B at +280 odds, facing off against Harris English (+330), Si Woo Kim (+330), J.T. Poston (+360) and Robert MacIntyre (+360) in Fort Worth this week.

Pick: Maverick McNealy (+280)
