Championship leader Lando Norris remains the favorite to come out on top this weekend in Japan, albeit at a Suzuka Circuit where he has yet to taste victory. The Briton sits eight points clear at the top of the standings despite a late brake issue in Shanghai depriving him of the chance of challenging eventual winner, Oscar Piastri.
Even though Verstappen has proven he can push the Red Bull to its absolute limit, McLaren looks to be in a league of its own. Keeping pace over 53 laps at Suzuka will be a massive challenge. We won't get many chances this season to bet Norris at plus money-and if it were any other driver starting on pole, that price wouldn't be available.
