2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets

The Masters Tournament marks the first major of the 2025 PGA Tour season. It’s time to watch the best golfers in the world compete at Augusta National Golf Club for a chance to wear the coveted green jacket.

Scottie Scheffler is the current betting favorite to win at +400 odds. He’s the defending champion and has won this major in 2022 and 2024, with Jon Rahm recording an outright win in 2023. Other notable betting favorites prior to Round 1 teeing off include Rory McIlroy at +650, Rahm at +1300, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele at +1800, as well as Bryson DeChambeau at +2000 odds.

Last week, my Valero Texas Open PGA best bets went 1-1. Denny McCarthy cashed a top 20 finish at +140 odds, recording a T18 finish in windy conditions at TPC San Antonio. Sam Stevens missed the cut, failing to hit on his top 30 finish at +125 odds.

I’m back with three PGA best bets to tail ahead of Round 1 at the Masters. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly PGA Tour analysis.

Top 30 Finish

Robert MacIntyre returns to Augusta National after a two-year hiatus. In previous outings, the Scotsman carded a T12 finish (2021) and T23 finish (2022), showcasing quality play from tee-to-green.

MacIntyre ranks 21st in total strokes gained on the PGA Tour in 2025. He’s eighth SG: Off-the-Tee, 21st SG: Approach, 26th in driving accuracy, and sixth at finding greens in regulation at 71.5 percent. He’s a good fit at Augusta National, leaning on his driver and irons to avoid miscues.

Putting remains a struggle for MacIntyre but he’s ranked 15th in scoring average, 25th on par 4s, and seventh for birdie average. He’s never finished outside the top 3o at the Masters. I believe this year won’t be any different based on MacIntyre’s current form.

Let’s bet on MacIntyre to log a top 30 finish at -125 odds at the Masters.

Pick: Robert MacIntyre (-125)

Top 20 Finish

This is the first time we’ll see Aaron Rai play at Augusta National and I’m excited to watch the ball-striker navigate the course. Rai only has one top-10 finish in 2025 but he’s recorded a top 20 finish in half of the events he’s played.

Ranked 27th in total strokes gained, Rai is 24th SG: Off-the-Tee, 40th SG: Approach, and fifth in driving accuracy. He’s also finding greens in regulation at over 70 percent, 18th-best on the PGA Tour, while ranked sixth on par 4s and 25th in birdie average.

+280 odds for a top 20 finish feels like a gift considering Rai’s elite tee-to-green talent and consistency. Yes, this course is challenging with its undulations and Bentgrass greens. However, I’ll back an accurate tee-to-green specialist like Rai against a loaded field to record his fifth top 20 finish of the season.

Pick: Aaron Rai (+280)

Top 10 Finish

Collin Morikawa has done everything but close out events with a lead in the past few years. He’s been red-hot in 2025, recording three top-ten finishes in five events played on the PGA Tour thus far. This includes a pair of runner-up finishes and a T10 at The Players Championship a few weeks ago.

Morikawa is first on the PGA Tour in several critical metrics, which include SG: Approach, proximity, and birdie average. He’s ranked fifth in putting average, fourth in scoring average, 12th SG: Off-the-Tee, fourth in driving accuracy, and ninth at finding greens in regulation at 71.4 percent. 20th in scrambling and 10th on par 4s are also worth mentioning.

Morikawa has carded a top 10 finish at the Masters in three straight appearances. He’s among the best golfers on the planet right now, so I’m all over Morikawa to record a top 10 finish at +150 odds at Augusta National this week.

Pick: Collin Morikawa (+150)
