2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Cameron Smith
It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.
The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.
Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta. And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.
Welcome to the fourth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on for our 2025 Masters predictions for Cameron Smith.

Course History
Cameron Smith is an Australian golfer currently playing with the LIV Golf Tour. He turned pro back in 2013 but didn't play in the Masters until 2016; finishing in the top four of the 2015 US Open earned him an invite. However, he had a rough tournament and ended up finishing t55. He didn't make it back until 2018, when he finished t5. The following year, he struggled throughout the Tournament and finished t51. But since then, he has been in contention in four of the last five Tournaments, with his best finish coming in 2020 when he tied for second with Dustin Johnson. Smith made history that year by becoming the first golfer to shoot four rounds in the 60s (67, 68, 69, and 69). The 2022 season was arguably his best as a pro, with a t3 finish at the Masters and his first Major win at The Open Championship. Smith joined the LIV Tour in 2023, finished t34 that year, but shot up the leaderboard last year to t6.
Recent Form
Smith is having a solid but unremarkable year on the LIV Tour this season. He got his first top-ten finish of the season on April 4-6 in Miami, where he shot a +1 for the Tournament and finished t9. Incidentally, it was his best finish of the season (t25, 30, t20, and t19) and the only tournament where he finished over par.
Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions
At +6000 (via DraftKings), Smith is a solid dark horse candidate worth taking a flyer on to win. He has a solid history at Augusta but has yet to break through and win. With how he cleaned up his game last weekend in Miami, he may be ready. At +360, he is certainly worth betting on to finish in the top ten (for the fifth time in six years).
