2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Ludvig Aberg

It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.

The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.

Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta? And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.

Welcome to the fourth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on for our 2025 Masters predictions for Ludvig Aberg.

Course History

Ludvig Aberg made a giant splash in his first-ever Masters appearance in 2024. While he was four strokes off the pace behind eventual champ Scottie Scheffler, the Swede was in sole possession of second place as a debutante. If not for some first-round jitters, he might have been fitted for a Green Jacket. Adberg burnt up the course in the final three rounds, posting an 8-under.

Recent Form

While Aberg has missed the cut in each of his past two appearances at THE PLAYERS Championship and Valero Texas Open, he does have a pair of top-5 finishes this season. He won a trophy at The Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, too, burning up the course with a final-round 66. If he can regain his form and tap into what made him an instant success at Augusta National last season, watch out.

Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions

There isn’t a huge sample size, but what we saw from the Swede at Augusta National is very good. For the opportunity to multiply your initial wager by 20 times, Aberg is certainly worth a roll of the dice.

If you’re a little bit of a conservative bettor, you can play top-10 finishes. Aberg is still offered at plus-money (+150) for a top-10 finish. That’s a tremendous value. Aberg is a good play at that price. Remember, he has missed his past two cuts, so this play certainly comes with some risk.
